
A week-long intensive program of study for college and graduate-level musicians, held on the grounds of the New England Music Camp. Program participants will focus on one or two major works in the chamber music literature, working along side a dynamic faculty representing such prestigious organizations as Orpheus, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, The Knights, Sequitur, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, and the Network for New Music. Special attention will be paid to the development of leadership skills and to learning the delicate art of cooperation within an intimate group.

Belgrade Lakes Region of Central Maine
The Maine Chamber Music Seminar is hosted on the beautiful 200 acre wooded lakeside campus of New England Music Camp in Sidney, Maine. Lake Messalonskee is located just north of Augusta and within minutes of Waterville, Maine. Part of the Belgrade Lakes region in Central Maine, Sidney is the perfect backdrop for participants to enjoy outdoor activities including fishing, hiking, biking, golfing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming.

Housing and Meals
Participants will stay in dormitory-style housing at New England Music Camp. The dining hall, located on the lower level of The Lodge, is a spacious and comfortable gathering place with views of Lake Messalonskee. Buffet style meals are prepared daily by a professional staff. A selection of entrees is served daily and includes a vegetarian option.
